Dunniwood Lodge
Dunniwood Lodge is a family-owned 39-bedroom care home providing residential, dementia, respite, and day care for older people. Our friendly and values-led community ensures that our residents, along with their loved ones, will always receive an authentic warm welcome.
Situated in Bessacarr, Doncaster, Dunniwood Lodge boasts spacious and bright bedrooms which residents are more than welcome to make their own by bringing in personal trinkets and furnishings. We offer a positive and attentive environment where our residents can choose to socialise with other residents and their loved ones. We also have a beautiful outdoor space with a garden, patio area, summer house, and a fishpond - perfect for pottering, relaxing, and enjoying the open air.
We provide a wide choice of nutritionally balanced and tasty dishes which are cooked with love by our in-house catering team. Our dedicated activity coordinators regularly carry out a great range of optional activities and events to suit our residents’ needs and interests, ensuring that our community flourishes.

Meet the manager
I’m Gemma, Home Manager at Dunniwood Lodge care home in Doncaster. I believe in a person-centred care approach, moulding the care around the individual. The people who live here at Dunniwood are unique and are very much involved in the care they receive.
Our homely setting is designed to enable people to socialise, stay active, and have privacy when they need it. Whether residents are here for respite or longer-term residential or dementia care they receive the best care around the clock.
