Why choose Highfield Hall?

We understand the challenges faced by younger adults who cannot live independently. Our shared home community offers:

  • A vibrant shared home celebrating individuality and aspirations.

  • Freedom to pursue goals and enjoy engaging activities.

  • Opportunities to grow, connect and contribute to our local community.

Our care supports residents to:

  • Feel valued and build meaningful connections.

  • Safely explore personal goals and regular activities.

  • Rediscover and develop skills based on individual abilities.

Our 24-bedroom unit welcomes younger adults aged 18–65 needing care due to:

  • Life-changing illnesses such as cancer or MSK conditions.

  • Trauma recovery (mental, physical, or emotional).

For many, care homes are the only option but can lead to isolation and loss of identity.

Highfield Hall addresses these challenges with a focus on individuality, connection and empowerment.

Who we support

Meet the manager

I’m Janet, Registered Manager at our Under 65’s Unit here at Highfield Hall care home in Haslingden. I began my career in the care sector 34 years ago and was previously the Home Manager at Highfield Hall care home before moving upstairs to this new unit. I am made to feel valued here, and this is reflected in the care provided to our residents. I’m proud of the difference that the whole team makes here to create a true ‘home from home’ for not just our residents', but for their loved ones too. We thrive on being a community. Family means a lot to me too, and I spend my free time travelling the world with my mum
