Happy 100th Birthday to Margaret!

Birthdays hold a special place in our celebrations here at Dunniwood Lodge and recently we had the privilege of marking Margaret’s milestone 100th birthday with us. We filled the room with flowers and balloons and she sat proudly with a birthday sash over her shoulder, chatting and laughing the day away surrounded by her lovely family.

We are delighted to foster moments, enjoying the simple joys of sitting down, reminiscing and celebrating what makes each of us unique. We are proud to have such a wonderful team here at Dunniwood that helps to make these days so special for our residents. We also recognise the invaluable role that family, friends and our local community play in our celebrations and the importance of being there for each other. We’re always delighted to be able to support such inspiring and joyous days for our families to enjoy.

Margaret was absolutely thrilled to receive a card from the Prime Minister of Ireland, a gesture that honoured her Irish roots. It made her feel truly special and cherished and it was wonderful to see the smile on her face. Days like this are a poignant reminder of our purpose of caring for residents in a way that contributes to a meaningful life and the pride and dedication we offer to those who choose to live with us.
